KONFERENSI PMM SIB SABAH KE34 2013

Konferensi PMM SIB Sabah sekali lagi akan diadakan pada bulan Ogos 2013, konferensi ini merupakan Konferensi rasmi PMM SIB Sabah yang ke 34. Ianya telah menjadi satu aktiviti tahunan bagi jemaat sidang SIB Sabah, dengan harapan dapat memupuk teras yang kukuh dalam membentuk generasi yang takut akan Kristus.

Konferensi PMM SIB Sabah yang ke 34 akan berlangsung selama 4 hari, konferensi ini dijalankan dengan permulaan pujian dan penyembahan dan diakhiri dengan pesanan atau khotbah Firman Tuhan di setiap sesi. Beberapa kawasan sidang SIB akan mengambil bahagian dalam Pujian Penyembahan. Sementara itu beberapa Pastor tempatan akan mengambil bahagian dalam sesi penyampaian Firman Tuhan, mengikut maklumat awal ada juga pengkhotbah jemputan yang diundang khas dari negara jiran iaitu Indonesia.

Sesuai dengan tema Generasi Cemerlang,  Konferensi PMM SIB Sabah yang ke 34 ini mengalu-alukan golongan muda mudi menyertai konferensi secara penuh masa. Antara objektif utama  Konferensi PMM SIB Sabah yang ke 34 ini diadakan adalah memberi kesedaran kepada genarasi muda betapa pentingnya Kristus sebagai dasar dalam kehidupan seharian mereka.

Orang awam yang tidak berpeluang menyertai seisi siang juga tidak ketingalan, ini kerana  Konferensi PMM SIB Sabah yang ke 34 juaga ada mengadakan aktiviti sesi di waktu malam. Paling menarik, sesi  malam Konferensi  PMM SIB Sabah yang ke 34.

1. Pray for God to overrule in the setting of the date of 13th General Election according to His Kairos time

2. Pray that God plans and purposes for our nation will be established during this election season

Jesus is the way of truth, the only reason why you and I have purpose to live today. Is Good Friday very important?
Good Friday can be called with other name, any name that we like to call it should be fine. What matters is the reason and meaning behind of Good Friday. Good Friday is not mean to celebrate happy day, the only purpose is to remind us of what happen on that day. It is the mourning and sorrow of Jesus death in flesh form, and rise again on the third day also in flesh form.

Why Jesus was crucified on the cross?
The only reason Jesus was crucified is His Love to humankind, it is stated in the Divine Law that the wages of sin is death. And that is final, God himself cannot deny His own rule and that makes all humankind bound to die. God can erase us easily without any trace, but His love to us secures our existence. In order to save us, Jesus become scapegoat and die to represent us (the Humankind) dying for our sins. He paid the wages of sin with His own blood, bleeding on the cross cutting all sins bound and claimed us as His sons. That is the  meaning behind of Good Friday.
